Have a High-End Look for Less!

As established home stagers in the Boston area, we are always looking to give our clients a high-end look without breaking the bank. We have learned throughout the years that many companies have begun to replicate the look of iconic furnishings at a fraction of the cost. As a result, we’ve used many of these pieces in our home stagings. Below, you will find a few of our favorite “splurges”:
-The Masters Chair, Philippe Starck made its debut it 2005. It is sold in many high end furniture stores like Design Within Reach. You can see it here:

You can find less expensive alternatives in many places such as Wayfair, Amazon, etc: here
Another example of an iconic furniture piece that we often use in high-end, midcentury home stagings is the Eames lounge chair. Developed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1956 and sold by Herman Miller, this chair is a staple of a midcentury modern home. The chair is an investment in style and comfort, price tag starting around $6,000. You can see it here:

However, if you don’t have 6K to drop on a chair, consider a less expensive alternative that is sure to please.

These are just a couple of the thousands of replicas that are out there. Of course, we always prefer to go with the original if financially accessible, but we also believe great style should be available for all budgets. Have fun surfing the internet for deals and don’t hesitate to contact our home staging company should you want some guidance in your furniture explorations!
